Atlanta Thrashers Vs. New York Islanders

Thrashers

All streaks must eventually come to an end. Well, our winning streak did, for one. But also, we had this other streak going where we were 10-0-0 for all games this season where we scored first. But a hat trick by Matt Moulson and another goal by John Tavares sent us home with a loss.

I spent most of my warm up time in enemy territory. That was a first for me. Only one amazing set of eyes could have possibly pulled me in. Afterwards, Virginia joined us for the game, so I spent most of my time chatting with her and not taking pictures, so I have very few to show for this game.

Evander Kane was the featured player on the program.

There's the reason I was in enemy territory: Martin Biron.

Let's have a closer look at those eyes, shall we?

The Islanders' starting goalie, Dwayne Roloson.

Their first overall draft pick, John Tavares.

Pavelec can't find me and is panicked. :p

Another look at Mr. Demon Eyes himself.

He blocked a few shots during warm ups and seemed to be enjoying himself.

The Islanders' pile up on their goalies during warm ups too.

The game begins and the Ruskies have a chat.

I hate that this is blurry, because that is one mess of a collision.

Pavs is thirsty.

You can see the puck in his glove at the end of his stick there.

The usual crowd in the player suite.

The three stars and final score. Crapzilla.
